Position Overview
Role: Causal Administration Officer at Hunter New England Local Health District (Muswellbrook Hospital). Salary: $33.59 - $34.70 per hour plus superannuation. Employment type: Casual. Classification: Administration Officer Level 2. Closing date: Sunday, 23rd November 2025.
Responsibilities
- Managing reception duties – greeting patients, answering calls, and responding to enquiries.
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
- Processing admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Supporting clinical and management teams with data entry, correspondence, and reports.
- Working various shifts: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm; Emergency Department after hours Monday–Friday 5:00pm–9:00pm; Weekends Saturday & Sunday 10:00am–6:30pm.

Enthusiastic, organised, and detail-oriented. Able to communicate clearly with patients and team members. Comfortable in a busy environment. Tech‑savvy and supportive team player. Willingness to learn and grow in hospital administration.
