Painter and Decorator Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Painter and Decorator. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and complete your Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.
In this role, you will work with our facilities management team to create and maintain our infrastructure. You will develop practical skills in painting and decorating on a diverse range of Council assets.
This position offers a chance to enhance your skills and knowledge in painting and decorative activities, including colours and textures. You will be able to set priorities, organise work, and communicate effectively with the team.
* A minimum of Year 10 completion
* Possession of or ability to obtain a White Card
* Willingness to enrol in and complete an apprenticeship in Certificate III Painting and Decorating
* A Class C driver's licence (or Provisional licence) and/or willingness to obtain MR licence
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in painting and decorative activities, a basic understanding of colours and perception, and strong communication skills. They must be able to take direction, implement feedback on performance, and work effectively as part of a team.
