About the Business
Our Social Policy, Evaluation and Reform team brings together expertise to deliver improvements and policies so DHS can provide the best possible services and programs for the South Australian community. They provide technical leadership in evaluation, project and change management and have responsibility for the state's inclusion agenda including, but not limited to, young people, carers, volunteers and LGBTIQA+.
Role Details
- Providing an expert function based on specialist skills, knowledge and experience to coordinate, facilitate, review and recommend changes to the coordination, structures and delivery of existing and new programs.
- Developing high level strategic advice at departmental, portfolio, whole of government and intergovernmental levels.
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and contributing to policy development and projects.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body. If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as is advised by DHS, including periodic assessment during your employment.
