An eligibility list will also be created and may be used to fill short‐term vacancies in the CTO role.
About the Opportunity
Clinical Training Officers plan, conduct and evaluate group or individual training within a designated area relating to clinical skills, the use of equipment and the underpinning ambulance practice knowledge to maximize service delivery to patients in the community.

About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following experience and capabilities
* Applicants must hold all required certifications, licences, registrations and qualifications and not be currently undertaking or be recommended to undertake a Clinical Assistance Program, registration as a paramedic at Paramedic Specialist ICP or Qualified Paramedic (P1) level and academically qualified in Advanced Clinical Skills or extensive clinical education experience in a similar role and undertake necessary and relevant training and work experience as determined by NSW Ambulance.
* Is not currently under consolidation process for ICP/ECP/ CCP/SOT
* Must hold Certificate IV TAE 40116 in training and assessment or equivalent.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively conduct, assess and evaluate competency‐based training and education.
* Demonstrated ability to provide on‐going training, mentoring and support for clinical and equipment issues.
* Good verbal communication skills including facilitation, presentation negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent teamwork and ability to work effectively within a small team providing education and training services.
* A demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilise various forms of information technology such as word processing, data bases and spread sheets.
* Demonstrated extensive knowledge of NSW Ambulance policies, practices and procedures and an understanding of relevant legislation.
