Payroll Manager Position
This is a high-level payroll position that involves leadership and management of the payroll team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small payroll team to ensure smooth operation of payroll processes.
* Process Management: Ensure payroll processing is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including audit requirements.
* Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders by responding to their queries in a timely and accurate manner.
* Project Participation: Participate in payroll system project activities, including process improvements and implementation of new systems.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements:
* Experience: Demonstrate experience in a similar role within the APS or private sector.
* Security Clearance: Hold a baseline security clearance (Australian Citizen).
* Aurion Experience: Preferably have experience with Aurion, but this is not essential.
* Skills: Possess excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
