Position SummaryWorking closely with the Head of Client Solutions Sydney and the Sydney People & Development team, the Client Solutions Manager is responsible for assisting in the growth of the NSW practice, including interviewing new lawyers and/or consultants and developing new business opportunities. This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a key role in further growing the people and client side of the business by assisting in matching suitable resources for client assignments, and coordinating, driving and engaging in business development activities. This role allows both autonomy and the chance to work within a dynamic and dedicated team.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & People Management
• Conducting interviews and shortlisting potential lawyers and/or consultants as part of the interview process and supporting the selection and rejection process.
• Conducting recruitment due diligence, including reference checks where appropriate on suitable candidates
• Advising, co-ordinating and/or preparing paperwork including secondment offer letters and extension documentation
• Attending legal industry events, networking and building a community of lawyers.
• Keeping talent pools warm and regularly touching base with current and prospective lawyers and consultants.
• Assisting in identifying the most appropriate lawyers and/or consultants for client assignments
• Preparing assignment briefs/position descriptions for lawyers and/or consultants for LOD assignments.
• Providing information on current assignment vacancies for existing lawyers and/or consultants, and potential lawyers and/or consultants
• Conducting salary negotiations with team of lawyers and consultants where appropriate.
• Organising and attending client meetings with proposed lawyers and/or consultants.
• Ensuring applicant information is recorded in our CRM databases as appropriate in a timely manner.
Business Development
• Assists Head of Client Solutions in identifying, developing and managing client relationships in NSW legal market to win and expand business
• Conducting business development activities including cold calls, arranging sales visits and following up on sales meetings and leads
• Locates or proposes potential business opportunities by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities
• Closes new business opportunities by coordinating and negotiating requirements
• Works towards revenue generation and maintaining LOD's desired margins
• Identify potential business opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; to provide increased market presence
• Prepare and co-ordinate client related documentation
• Works with the wider client solutions team to manage and grow our client relationships across all offices
• Maintenance of Client Relationship Management system and generating sales activity reports
• Prepare tenders, pitches and presentations to win new client business
• Identify and attend industry, trade and consumer events
Key Performance Indicators
• Ensuring that the Sydney office is delivering on its yearly client solutions, people and development and office plans
• Maintaining strong relationships with Sydney lawyers and/or consultants
• Assisting in the achievement/exceeding of budgeted sales projections
• Increasing the LOD presence in the NSW legal market
• Conversion of prospects to clients
• Successful management of ongoing client relationships
• Successful penetration of new market sectors
• Increasing utilisation of lawyers/consultants
• Maintaining up to date information in our CRM system
• Supporting internal teams to ensure sales opportunities are maximised
• Successful and meaningful relationships with management team, clients and lawyers

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or law
* You will have a mix of at least 5 years demonstrated recruitment, HR and/or sales experience, ideally in professional services or a recruitment related business
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook and PowerPoint
