The opportunity
RPM Australia Pacific Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Welder to join our team in Gatton, Queensland. As a 2nd Class Welder, you will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing to the manufacture and maintenance of high-quality industrial products.
Key Duties for this Role:
· Perform welding tasks to a high standard – MIG welding
· Ensure all welding meets standards and project specifications.
· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out welding work accurately and efficiently
· Operate various machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
· Cutting, measuring and preparing steel components
· Finishing products by cleaning and preparing for paint
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
· Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
What we're looking for:
2nd Class Welder:
· A minimum of 2 years' experience or in a similar role
· Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
· Ability to meet production schedules.
· Ability to be moved around in sectors of the workshop
· Forklift ticket and experience is preferred.
· Have own reliable transport.
· A positive and reliable individual

· Competitive Rates (depending on experience) + Penalties, OT and Super
· Work Hours: Mon-Thur 6:00am-2:30pm, Fri 6:00am-12:00pm
