Job Overview:
The role of a Technical Service Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and integrity of critical services and systems at our data centre facilities.
This involves Electrical, Mechanical, and Fire infrastructure maintenance.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Swift response to service requests and emergency faults
* Conducting preliminary fault diagnosis, identifying causes, and implementing solutions
* Communicating repair schedules with internal teams for coordinated client communication
* Critical switching to prevent disruptions in case of equipment failure
* Ensuring timely completion of planned maintenance, daily site inspections, and adherence to safety protocols
The ideal candidate will possess a trade or tertiary qualification in relevant fields (Electrical, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Fire, Telecommunications) and experience operating Building Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS).
