The Role
Reporting to the HAAMC, you will oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for a diverse and growing helicopter fleet, ensuring resource optimisation to complete tasks efficiently and maintain fleet readiness.
Responsibilities
* Schedule, coordinate and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety and quality regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate and collaborate with fleet specialists and component shop to ensure availability of required parts and inspections for scheduled work.
* Develop and maintain standard parts lists for routine tasks and maintenance procedures.
* Provide regular fleet reports and maintenance schedules to HAAMC, highlighting any risks and suggested solutions.
* Track and analyse maintenance performance, including aircraft downtime, delays, and task completion rates.
* Ensures all aircraft records are stored in compliance with CASA/FAA Regulations and McDermott Aviation Policies and Procedures.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives around processes and procedures to drive efficiencies.
About You
* Experience working as a maintenance planner, ideally in an aviation environment.
* Knowledge of helicopter maintenance practices, procedures and regulatory requirements
* Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems or Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul software, such as: Veryon, Aeronet, Trax, Aerotrack or MaintenX.
* Strong Time Management, Attention to Detail and Communication skills.
* Prior experience as a Helicopter Technician or Engineer will be highly regarded.
