The Role:
Join us and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving the continued growth of Beechmont Estate as one of Queensland's premier boutique luxury event destinations.
We are looking for:
This is an ideal role for a highly organised and commercially minded events professional with strong experience in weddings, corporate events and luxury hospitality. This role involves working on weekends in line with event delivery.
* Plan, coordinate and execute weddings, corporate events and private functions from initial enquiry through to delivery
* Manage event sales enquiries, site inspections and client relationships to convert leads into confirmed bookings
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of event business, contributing to overall revenue growth
* Liaise with internal departments including kitchen, front of house, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless event execution
* Prepare event proposals, run sheets, and detailed function orders
* Oversee event delivery on the day, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
* Monitor event profitability, manage budgets and identify upselling opportunities
* Develop strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
* Continuously refine and improve event offerings in line with market trends
Your background - you will have:
* Proven experience as an Events Manager or similar role within hospitality, venues, hotels or luxury properties
* Strong sales and business development skills with a track record of achieving revenue targets
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
* Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* A hands‐on approach with the ability to lead from the front during event delivery
* Financial awareness, including budgeting and cost control
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
