About the opportunity:
Position: Data Manager (Emergency Department)
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time
Location: Emergency Department / Medical Service Group / Townsville University Hospital
This position is responsible for the management of quality patient information systems, data collection and analysis for the Medical Service Group. There will be a focus on the assessment of data collection as a tool to provide useful information in improving outcomes and the service.

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications/ professional registration/ other requirements
* Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to manage the information requirements of a clinical service unit, ensuring the collection and analysis of relevant and accurate data.
* Highly regarded: Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience, in medical terminology, and health information management.
* Highly regarded: Demonstrated ability to source, prepare and present reports, utilising pivot tables and graphs, with excellent attention to detail.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* Probation period may apply.
