12 month appointment pool.
We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise up to 12 months from the first appointment.
Appointments may be made on a full-time, part-time, casual, permanent or fixed-term basis with possible further term and and/or permanency.
Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Candidates may also be considered for similar positions within South Metropolitan TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool. If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

About the role
To be suitable for the pool you will ideally have experience in a customer-centric environment, with well-developed customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and staff at all levels. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment and display good time management and organisational skills. Good digital skills and experience in the use of business systems (such as MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems) is also essential for the roles.
Customer Service Officer
The Customer Service Officer provides a high standard of customer service across digital channels and face to face across South Metropolitan TAFE’s campuses. Customer Service performs a highly technical role from enquiry to enrolment in conjunction with the Student Administration and Admissions teams.
Client Contact Officer
The Client Contact Officer will provide high quality client contact service functions across South Metropolitan TAFE to prospective students and current students.
