Role details: RN/Midwife classification with salary range $41.49 - $52.97/hr + super. Part-time position – 48 hours per fortnight.

Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in Southport. It offers a wide range of specialties including 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology. The department supports maternity services with a 25-bed post/antenatal/gynaecology ward and a 9-bed level 4 Special Care Nursery.
Your Duties Will Include
Monitoring neonates and recording observations
Daily care of babies in SCN
Support and assist with feeding of babies
Support families with bonding during their stay
Use of CPAP equipment
Ability to work shift work
Essential Criteria
Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Minimum of 2 years Neonatal nursing level 4 nursery experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery
CPAP competent
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team; Intermediate computer skills
Desirable Criteria
Postgraduate qualifications in Neonatal nursing (or working towards)
