Position: Cook (Training Position)
Location: Liverpool NSW
Employment Type: Full time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 + super (based on experience)
We are seeking a motivated Cook who is interested in developing their culinary skills and undertaking structured workplace-based training in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation and cooking
Follow recipes, portion control and food presentation standards
Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleaning schedules and food safety requirements Support senior chefs with stock rotation, food storage and equipment maintenance
Learn menu planning, ordering processes and kitchen workflow systems
Training Focus:
This position includes a structured workplace training program that provides skill development in:
Menu design and planning. International dishes
Commercial kitchen operations
Cost control and food purchasing
Advanced cooking techniques and food presentation
Compliance with Food Safety Standards
The ideal candidate will have basic cooking knowledge, willingness to learn, and strong interest in pursuing a cooking career.
