**Speech Pathologist Role Overview**
This role forms part of our Paediatric Allied Health Team, providing services using an interdisciplinary model of care. The Speech Pathologist will work in a multidisciplinary team to provide individual speech pathology consultations.
The role involves both centre-based and outreach work, including assessment, diagnosis, development, and management of paediatric clients in partnership with their families, carers, and other service providers. This includes:
* Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
* Development of individualised treatment plans
* Delivery of evidence-based interventions
The Speech Pathologist will also be responsible for up-skilling other allied health professionals in the core business areas of Speech Pathology and supervising students and employees in roles graded below theirs.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
* Current registration with relevant professional body
* Experience working with paediatric populations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
