About The Role
We're seeking a seasoned Risk Transformation Professional to lead and deliver key initiatives across our organisation.
In this pivotal role, you'll report directly to the General Manager – Risk Transformation and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to drive risk maturity, embed best practice frameworks, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
* Develop and implement comprehensive risk transformation strategies aligned to strategic objectives.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
* Prepare insightful reports and provide recommendations to support risk transformation activities.
* Design and facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements to drive change management.
* Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to design and implement refreshed risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management issues.
* Direct continuous improvement activities to increase capability and efficiency.
* Lead change management activities and foster a culture of innovation.
* Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to inform risk transformation efforts.
* Ensure updated practices and processes meet best practice and regulatory requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a highly skilled professional with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to think creatively. You should have:
* Deep experience in risk management, with a strong background in risk transformation within regulated financial services (ideally superannuation).
* Proven ability to support and lead complex change management or transformation initiatives.
* Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
* High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging risks.
