They are at the forefront of Australia's transition to renewable energy, with an expanding portfolio that includes Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical systems, generators, turbines and transformers.
The Opportunity
We need an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of new and existing BESS projects from conception through to completion. You will manage the entire project lifecycle – scope development, contract negotiation, manufacturing oversight, installation, commissioning and ongoing technical support – working closely with Construction, Engineering and Business Development teams to optimise project execution and maximise opportunities with existing clients.
Based at Winston Hills (2–3 days per week), you will spend significant time on‐site at client locations across Australia and potentially internationally during critical project phases. Inter‐state candidates willing to relocate to Sydney will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‐to‐end project delivery for BESS equipment supply, installation, commissioning and monitoring.
* Manage projects from quotation through contract negotiation to completion and final accounts.
* Drive effective planning, control and monitoring with internal teams and customers.
* Motivate and lead project teams, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Undertake site and project management activities at remote customer locations.
* Contribute to tender proposals through estimating and works programme preparation.
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated, hands‐on experience with large‐scale BESS projects
* Engineering and Project Management qualifications.
* Strong commercial and project management skills – negotiation, planning, estimating, costing and quoting.
* Proven experience managing project teams, internal labour resources and subcontractors.
* Willingness to be located on remote client sites for the duration of project installations.
