**The Opportunity**
**We have opportunity for a qualified Field Service Fitter - Excavators** to join our **Elevation System team** located in our** Wacol branch**. This role will enhance the support of the Hitachi hydraulic lifting and locking system that has been developed for under chassis maintenance of a range of **Mining Excavators across Australia**.
The role will be responsible for the _planning_, _operation_ and _maintenance_ of the Elevation System. Travelling with the system, while being supported by local branch resources, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient replacement of components such as swing bearings and track frames.
**Reporting to the Elevation Systems Manager you will**:
- Effectively manage HCA's relationship with mine sites by delivering safe high quality support
- Coordinate and supervise Elevation System projects
- Required to work in a team or autonomously
- Where necessary, you will also be required to provide technical training and assistance to other branches within the organization.
- ** Mechanical Trade Qualifications essential to this role**:
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Safety first culture with evidence of understanding of mine safety
- Ability to travel all over Australia to support HCA customers
