Our new Moorebank NDC (MoNDC) is currently under construction, and it's set to be a game-changer. Located in Moorebank NSW, MoNDC is the newest addition to the Primary Connect Network, boasting an impressive 44,900 sqm facility that's almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). With this expansion, we're taking Primary Connect's national supply chain to the next level. The state-of-the-art facility will also incorporate advanced automation technology, allowing for faster and more efficient handling of the 12,000 product lines, and further strengthening Woolworths Group's commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics industry.
You'll be at the forefront of our cutting-edge technology, This role is key during the transition phase of our project and will be heavily involved in a multitude of transitional activities. You'll be collaborating and problem solving with the project team and other leaders, Leading in the system transition to operations and commissioning activities and developing documentation.

The Opportunity
This exciting role reports into the Head Of Program Delivery Systems Technology and Systems Optimisation The ideal candidate will need to have prior experience and skills within a similar role covering the following areas of expertise.
Systems Transition Planning: Develop comprehensive transition plans and strategies for implementing new warehouse systems, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify dependencies, and define project milestones.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to establish clear expectations, deliverables, and timelines. Proactively manage vendor relationships to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Project Coordination: Lead and oversee the coordination of activities among various stakeholders, including IT teams, operations, vendors, and third-party contractors. Drive the execution of project plans, monitor progress, and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure project timelines are met.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with system transitions and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Proactively communicate risks to relevant stakeholders and provide recommendations to address them effectively.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Work closely with the testing team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Ensure that all systems and integrations are thoroughly tested to validate functionality and adherence to business requirements before going live.
Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to facilitate a smooth transition for end-users and stakeholders. Provide training and support to ensure adoption and successful utilisation of new systems.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, progress, issues, and resolutions. Prepare regular status reports and present updates to key stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the warehousing systems landscape. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
Support on new partner setups and maintenance, including partner creation, testing, and validation.
5. Guide the technical design process and ensure technical solutions address customer requirements.
6. Interacting with business teams & customers, providing a high level of customer service
7. Provide mentoring, task management, and oversight to the vendor and testing teams and lead the testing reviews.
8. Develop work plans and processes.
9. Provide guidance, mentoring and assistance to lower-level team members in the completion of their duties.
10. Take directions from and work with senior members of the PC team.
11. Configuration manage development and integration environments
12. Identifying, tracking, and resolving unique technBenefitsical issues
13. Applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.
14. Plan and manage service changes efficiently and effectively.
