About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across Robina, QLD, on a Casual or Part-time basis .
More Specifically, Some Of Your Duties May Include
* Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
* Food preparation and shopping
* Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
* Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
* Providing social interaction and companionship
* Transport to appointments
About You
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
* Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
* Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
* Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
* Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
* Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
* Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
* Must have own car & relevant insurances
* Dementia care qualification – desirable
* Proficient verbal and written communication skills
