**The opportunity**
Our market leading Infrastructure Advisory team in Sydney is currently working on a variety of major regional and city-shaping infrastructure projects and programs. We have worked on some of the largest projects in Sydney and around Australia, across the infrastructure and program lifecycle - including policy development and strategy, financial and commercial analysis, program evaluation, taking transactions to market, supporting transaction evaluation, negotiation and execution, and then providing ongoing contract support and asset management advice.
We are looking for a high-performing and experienced professional to help lead the growth of our team. This role will provide you a great exposure to be part of Australia's major projects as well as the opportunity to work closely with our talented leaders in Infrastructure Advisory.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Provide commercial, financial and strategic advice to clients in connection with the planning, commissioning and delivery of infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on social infrastructure
- Lead the preparation of quality project deliverables that present commercial and financial analysis in a clear, concise and impactful manner
- Identify and pursue market opportunities and lead the preparation of tender responses for new client mandates
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships and networks in the sector and across State government.
- Further and detailed responsibilities will be determined by your rank and experience.
**Skills and attributes for success**
**To qualify for the role you must have**
- Positive, proactive and collaborative approach to working in a team environment
- Self-starting and enthusiastic and with an appetite to be part of growing a practice
- An interest in working in social infrastructure and services, specifically in social and affordable housing
- An understanding of major infrastructure procurement, including familiarity with key delivery models such as PPPs, alliances, managing contractor structures.
- Strong commercial acumen and project management skills with the ability to think independently
- Ability to navigate and interrogate a financial model proficiently and understand the outputs
**Ideally, you'll also have**
- Familiarity working in Social Services commissioning and with NFP providers
- Experience with social and affordable housing procurement
