What You Will Do
Manage all aspects of the kitchen section, including training, leading and inspiring the Kitchen team to ensure a highly-skilled, well-organised and motivated team.Ensure food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established, monitored and maintained to meet current Food Concept guidelinesDelivery of food is executed in a timely mannerUndertake ordering of stock for all kitchen areas needs, ensuring orders across sections are condensed to reduce excessive stock, and par stock levels are maintained
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Cook passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our Catering Team. This is a Permanent role that requires you to be available on weekends.
Reporting to the Head Chef, the cook provides a nutritious, appetising, and varied menu for residents that enhance their quality of life. This menu is nutritionally sound, is aligned to residents' individual medical and other needs and preferences, the Aged Care Quality standards, and regulatory requirements, and is delivered within budget.

Who are you and what will you bring?
At least 1-2 years hospitality experience in a Cook roleHold and maintain NDIS Workers Check (or willing to obtain)Experience as a Cook within Aged CareCompleted Food Safety Supervisor Course Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal)
