THE ROLE
With a strong project pipeline for 2026 and beyond, this is your opportunity to deliver high-profile HV grid connections on renewables projects across the East Coast of Australia. Your role will be based in our South Brisbane head office with site travel (reasonable driving distance from Brisbane) as required.
As a Senior Project Manager at EPEC, you will:
* Oversee the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex projects.
* Ensure alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
* Lead the development of detailed project plans.
* Manage resources effectively to meet project goals.
* Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders to maintain transparency.
* Uphold quality standards throughout all project phases.
* Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams.
* Support and mentor project administrators, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
ABOUT YOU
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
* General Construction Induction and a current C Class Driver's Licence.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a senior role, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
* Experience delivering high voltage substations, transmission lines, and renewable projects will be advantageous.
* High-level knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and motivating cross‑functional teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and work effectively under pressure.
* Desirable: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
