We are looking for an experienced Care Manager to take on a part-time leadership role, working Monday to Wednesday, plus every 2nd Friday to drive clinical and operational excellence at Respect Peace Haven in Launceston.

Respect also has home care services in multiple states, and more than 700 units in different retirement villages and independent living communities.

The Position: The Care Manager is responsible for planning, assigning, and overseeing duties, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures. In this role, you will play a key part in the efficient management of human, material, and financial resources, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines. The Care Manager will use their high-level clinical skills and knowledge as an experienced Registered Nurse to achieve best practice clinical standards, while providing strong leadership in a resident-focused care environment. They proactively contribute to building a workplace culture that embraces innovation and collaboration in order to support our residents to " live life as they choose".

Essential Requirements
* Successful completion of a minimum Bachelor Degree in Nursing (RN)
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Minimum 3 years experience in residential aged care.
* Working knowledge of the requirements of the Quality Agency Standards, Specified Care and Service Principles of the Aged Care Act, Documentation Standards, Residents Rights, Aged Care Funding Instrument and other relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practices.
* Sound clinical knowledge and skills in accordance with contemporary practice.
* Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
* Previous nursing management experience.
* Experience and involvement in accreditation processes.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
