THE POSITION Assist the Head Chef stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring & training by supervising, and Monitor and oversee the food production and menu-based catering on site Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness Using first class produce, ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience THE PERSON Minimum certificate III in Commercial Cookery Previous leadership experience and enjoys creating a positive work culture Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours Available to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP regulations Driven with a creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation Successful candidate will be required to pass an ASIC security clearance as part of the onboarding process THE BENEFITS Daily travel or parking allowance Staff meals provided Uniform provided Growth within the airline sector Ongoing training and development opportunities We are committed to providing a recruitment process that is fair, equitable and accessible for all.
