Job Title: Customer Service Team Member
A critical role in our organization is available for a highly skilled and motivated individual. As a Customer Service Team Member, you will play a key part in ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
* Investigating customer complaints regarding overages, shortages, and damaged freight;
* Answering questions and complaints regarding services, billing, credit ratings, and merchandise;
* Monitoring the Undelivered Freight Report daily for freight not cleared within 24 hours;
* Tracing freight shortages by checking similar shipments loaded before and after the short shipment;
* Identifying and correcting billing/rating errors;
* Providing rate quotes;
* Performing daily reports of various shippers' Account;
* Answering calls from customers or other Service Center requesting status of freight;
* Coordinating Linehaul activity to effectively utilize equipment and personnel while meeting Company requirements and minimizing costs;
To excel in this role, you must possess:
* A High School Diploma or GED;
* The ability to satisfactorily pass background check and alcohol and drug test;
* 6 months of related experience and/or previous office experience;
* Strong customer relations skills to communicate effectively with internal and external customers;
* The ability to manage multiple tasks with interruption;
* Computer skills;
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications;
