We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to oversee workplace safety in our operations. This full-time role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, developing effective training programs and ensuring compliance with OHS/WHS regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out meticulous risk assessments to identify potential hazards
* Design and implement impactful training programs to educate employees on safe working practices
* Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near-misses
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive safety culture
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
* Strong skills in compliance, leadership and communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with Australian safety regulations and standards
