Due to an internal promotion we currently have a great opportunity for a capable and experienced Credit Officer who is enthusiastic, wants to expand their experience and knowledge and work in a fun, dynamic environment.
This position is located at our head office in Moe.
Role and Responsibilities
* Works closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording and processing of receipts
* Investigate and solve payment discrepancies
* Undertake debt collection activities on a regular basis
* Participation in annual risk review and credit limit reviews for customer accounts
* Provide customer service relating to customer queries, invoicing, payments, etc.
* Processing account applications in line with finance policies
* Participate in the development and implementation of finance systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
* Preparation of month end and ad hoc reports relating to Accounts Receivable
General
* Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills including telephone skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
* Experience in a Sales Order and / or Accounts Receivable role
Education and/or Experience
* A qualification in Accounting, Business Management or Financial Services would be highly desirable
* Practical and relevant experience (experience within manufacturing / construction will be advantageous)
* Experience in a role requiring a high-level attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience being required to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
