Return to Work Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Return to Work Specialist to provide expert case management services to support employees across various public sector agencies.
This role is part of a high-performing team focused on delivering guidance and coordination to ensure safe, sustainable return-to-work outcomes for employees recovering from work-related or personal injuries and illnesses. The team offers flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home, to support a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for injured or ill employees.
* Guide and support agencies through the complexities of Income Protection and WorkCover claims.
* Provide expert advice and clear recommendations to facilitate effective injury management and recovery.
* Develop, monitor, and manage tailored return-to-work plans and reasonable workplace adjustments.
* Coordinate services such as independent medical assessments and support ill-health retirement processes where required.
* Maintain accurate, professional case notes and documentation to support all aspects of the rehabilitation process.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in return-to-work coordination or rehabilitation case management.
* Solid understanding of Queensland's workers' compensation and income protection schemes.
* Strong knowledge of injury management, return-to-work planning, and legislative requirements.
