Electrical and Controls Engineer Job Opportunity
Safetech Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical and Controls Engineer to join our team in Victoria. As a full-time Electrical and Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems that support our mission of delivering industry-leading safety solutions.
The position will be based at our Moe Gippsland site, with the flexibility to work from our Mt Waverly base from time to time. Travel between sites may be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical and PLC system design.
* Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards.
* Support integration across design, production, and service.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
* Conduct on-site troubleshooting and commissioning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in electrical design and PLC programming.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Knowledge of AS4024 standards.
* Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
* Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
