We are currently looking for an experienced Welder to join our team at our workshop based in North Brisbane.
About the role:
* Working within a friendly and collaborative team, where we connect once a month for a team lunch
* Working within our Beam Shed, you will complete welding tasks safely, efficiently and accurately
* Competitive hourly rate and great working conditions
Your day may include:
* Examine drawing or specifications and complete welding tasks safely, efficiently and accurately
* Complete other fabrication tasks such as cutting and priming as required
* Strap and store completed jobs in the appropriate racks making sure to label jobs with correct job name and number
* Safely operate the forklift to store and transport product
* Complete required paperwork, including recording weld times on Job Cards for completed jobs
* Provide team support and assist in various workshop functions
Our ideal new addition will have:
* Qualified Metal Fabricator / Welder
* Minimum 3 year's experience
* Able to read drawings and tech specs
* Skills and understanding in manipulating, cutting, shaping and welding metal for construction and manufacturing purposes
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* High attention to detail
