Estimator - Civil Infrastructure | Hunter Valley
A long-standing civil contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support upcoming projects in the Hunter Valley. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of civil and infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates based on tender documents and site inspections
* Analyse project specs, drawings, BOQs, and historical data
* Coordinate RFIs, subcontractor quotes, and supplier pricing
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop non-pricing schedules
* Support tender reviews and ensure timely submissions
* Provide pricing insights and advice to project managers
What You'll Need:
* Minimum 3 years' local experience in civil estimating
* Strong first principles estimating skills
* Background in Civil infrastructure projects, inolvong civil works, road constrcution, bulk earthworks.
* Proficient with Excel-based estimating (no estimating software used)
* Excellent attention to detail, risk assessment, and communication skills
