Change Consultant Job Description
We are seeking a Change Consultant to join our client's Melbourne or Sydney office, working on a high-profile Risk & Compliance project.
This is a contract position with an initial 12-month term. The project involves collaborating with a global firm across both Sydney and Melbourne, focusing on multi-year GRC uplift projects.
Scope of Work:
You will report directly to the Program Director and Chief Compliance Officer, supporting the delivery of risk and regulatory remediation programs within the Regulatory Change Project Management Office.
Your main stakeholders will include professionals from the first and second lines in Australia and offshore, supporting the delivery of remediation risk programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead working groups in defining, documenting, and delivering business impacts across all phases of change deliverables.
* Utilize influencing and persuasion skills to implement change successfully and influence decision-making with key stakeholders in a diverse and matrix operating environment.
* Collaborate with Senior Management in strategic change scope for implementation.
* Present at Steering Committee and meetings on change activities.
* Implement process improvements using problem-solving and business analysis skills.
Required Experience:
* Proven relationship building and management skills.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Program/project/change management skills.
* Knowledge of the Asset Management industry.
* Proven relevant experience with regulatory change, managing projects, or leading large initiatives within a large, global organization, preferably Financial Services.
* Demonstrated leadership in regulatory evaluation, execution, and compliance at a global asset management firm.
* Experience working in the banking sector (and ideally risk or compliance) highly desirable.
