Our team provide HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry services to a variety of major clients that range from the education and government sector to commercial buildings and state of the art facilities across the region.
About The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing general boiler services, repairs and maintenance to allocated buildings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years-experience in servicing and maintenance, along with a proven track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.
Candidates with experience in servicing equipment with a client facing focus in commercial and industrial environments would be highly regarded. Further opportunities for the industry training can be provided through the business.
Responsibilities For The Role Include
* Provide gas fitting and boiler/combustion services to ensure all planned and reactive maintenance, remedial work, fault diagnostics and installation works are carried out in an efficient, effective and safe manner Service and maintenance background with commercial and or industrial experience
* Expedite all works in a professional and tradesman like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted commercial/ industry standards.
* This role entails working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality and gas fitting and boiler/combustion services.
* As this is a service position it requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time, and the time of others, in order to meet deadlines.
To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:
* NZ qualification in gas fitting
* NZ gas registration
* 5 years post trade experience
* Boiler servicing and combustion equipment experience
* Valid, unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence
* Installation and maintenance of gas services, gas equipment and boilers
* Commercial gas installation and maintenance
* Electrical registration is preferred
