Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production departments, providing leadership and direction to employees and contractor groups, and optimising area performance through effective coaching and mentoring.
Accountabilities include:
* Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage and coordinate production schedules, staffing, shift planning, equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
* Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and work standards, including leading and developing production teams, training, and performance management.
* Resolve operational issues and troubleshoot production bottlenecks, maintain production records and reports, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, be energetic, and possess excellent communication skills. Key qualifications include:
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, including staff development and training.
