Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Family and Domestic Violence Outreach Worker. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by family and domestic violence.

You will work closely with clients to provide support and guidance, helping them to regain safety, stability, and confidence. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in advocating for access to vital services and creating personalized plans that prioritize their wellbeing.

This is a part-time (18 hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2026 based in Kununurra. If you are passionate about empowering people from all backgrounds, especially Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and culturally diverse communities, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience
* Ability to engage and build strong relationships with clients who have been impacted by family and domestic violence
* Experience providing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders (ATSI) and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) clients
* A developed understanding of the dynamics of family and domestic violence
* Excellent case management, written and verbal communication skills
