Our integrated model combines medical oversight, psychiatric support, nursing, counselling, and family engagement — all delivered within a structured, outcomes‐focused framework. As we enter a significant growth phase, we are seeking an experienced and values‐driven General Manager to lead operational excellence and compliance maturity across the organisation.
The General Manager will provide executive‐level operational leadership across Arrow Health's clinical and non‐clinical functions. Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational performance, workforce leadership, financial stewardship, and service quality.
This is not a passive administrative role. We are seeking a disciplined, systems‐oriented operator with strong healthcare governance capability and demonstrated experience leading multi‐disciplinary teams within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide executive oversight of all hospital and program operations
* Maintainfull compliance with healthcare regulatory frameworks, accreditation standards, and quality systems (including hospital licensing and clinical governance requirements)
* Lead and manage a multi‐disciplinary team including medical practitioners, nursing staff, allied health professionals, lived experience workers and administrative personnel
* Support and strengthen internal governance structures, risk management processes, and reporting frameworks — Strengthen internal governance, risk management, and reporting frameworks
* Oversee workforce planning, performance management, and team training development
* Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining patient‐centred care standards — Drive operational efficiency while safeguarding patient safety and care quality
* Support strategic growth initiatives, including service expansion and partnerships
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with regulators, insurers, referrers, and community partners
Qualifications
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience within the medical or hospital sector
* Strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance, accreditation standards, and clinical governance
* Proven track record managing multi‐disciplinary teams in complex healthcare environments
* Understanding of mental health and addiction treatment frameworks
* Experience operating within a regulated private hospital or health service setting
* Strong financial literacy and operational management capability
* High level communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience within addiction treatment or mental health services
* Exposure to private health fund billing and regulatory reporting
* Experience preparing organisations for accreditation audits
* Tertiary qualifications in Health Management, Business, Nursing, or related discipline
