Job Overview
The primary objective of this role is to lead the work management process for maintenance and operations teams.
* Conduct regular inspections with shift personnel to maximise plant utilisation.
* Ensure effective maintenance of plant and equipment using a CMMS system and communication protocols.
* Promptly assist maintenance and operations teams with breakdown maintenance to minimise operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
* Prioritise maintenance tasks with Superintendents, Plant Coordinators, Maintenance Planners, and Reliability engineers.
* Organise and run weekly planning meetings with key stakeholders, create and schedule weekly maintenance and outage plans.
Asset Management
* Own the master data and work with the asset management team to improve any shortfalls.
Requirements:
* A mechanical trade qualification is highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in engineering with experience in a planning or scheduling role is considered.
* Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of mining and mineral processing plants, fixed and mobile is required.
