Design Engineer Role Overview
This is a permanent, full-time position with a fortnightly RDO (rest and discovery period) providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills in engineering design, plan production, and quality assurance specification services for municipal civil infrastructure projects.
Job Description:
* Assist in the provision of efficient and accurate engineering designs
* Plan production and quality assurance specification services for municipal civil infrastructure projects
The role reports to the Principle Design Engineer and offers opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary degree in Civil Engineering with relevant experience
* Demonstrated competence in engineering design, particularly in road and drainage design
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* High-quality interpersonal and team working skills
* Competent operation of computer-aided design software (preferably Civilsite Engineering Software and AutoCAD)
* Competent operation of traffic management software Autoturn

* Band 6 salary: $88,829 to $98,566 per annum plus superannuation
