A skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic is required. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure their safety, reliability and performance. This is a full-time ongoing role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical problems and dismantle vehicle components to evaluate wear and damage.
Repair or replace faulty or worn-out parts, following service manuals and industry standards.
Carry out routine maintenance, such as oil changes, lubrication and engine tune-ups, to enhance performance and comply with emissions regulations.
Work with supervision to reassemble engines and components, ensuring proper fitting and thorough testing of all parts.
Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used and customer service reports.
Follow all workshop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Explain vehicle issues and repair options to customers, offering clear cost estimates and maintenance recommendations.
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
Test and adjust mechanical components after repair to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in a Motor Mechanic role.
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
