The role assists with the sales team in weekly reporting, preparing proposals and contracts; as well as developing a range of marketing collateral for all outlets in line with brand guidelines and strategic imperatives.
The role also supports the development of marketing plans, distribution reviews, and social media channels.
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing Function to execute major tactical campaigns, PR & sales activities and loyalty marketing efforts whilst also creating F&B tactical activities and supporting leisure outlets to meet revenue goals. They act as a brand champion, developing expertise in the brand fundamentals and supporting
onsite teams to ensure the brand is consistently well represented.

Duties and responsibilities
Financial returns:
* Assist to prepare quotes and contracts for the Sales Team and provide support when Business
Development Managers are offsite conducting proactive sales or attending trade shows
* Assist to execute brand and hotel specific marketing campaigns and develop in-house collateral.
* Assist to manage channel, microsite and social media content including special offers and promotions, and campaign support pages.
* Assist with the compilation of all direct mail campaigns and electronic marketing campaigns.
* Analyse marketing campaign results, and process efficiencies; report and present periodically to the Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.
* Assist to co-ordinate the work of relevant production agencies to ensure production meets budget,
quality and deadlines, primarily print and design suppliers.
* Actively assist in the execution of sponsorship and partnership activities to establish strong community involvement, promote our brand to their customer bases, maximise opportunities to generate revenues, and ensure fulfilment of all sponsorship and partnership obligations.
* Co-ordinate all purchase orders and invoices for sales & brand and communication projects in accordance with assigned budgets.
* Monitor the marketing activities of competitors across all channels and media and comment on the strengths and weaknesses of their campaigns and promotions.
* Develop creative marketing messages and promotional activity to support F&B and Leisure outlets to drive revenue.
* Ensure IHG Loyalty programmes are being executed and fully leveraged onsite in collaboration with IHG loyalty champion
* Support the Marketing Manager to prepare submissions for end of month and yearly reports, and management of assigned projects
* Assist with preparation for presentations, famils, client entertainment and trade shows.
* Any other duties, as directed by the DOSM, that may contribute to supporting our Financial Metrics.
* People:
* Assist with on-boarding preparation for all new employees within the Sales and Marketing team.
* Actively participate in all training sessions and ensure that any pre and post course work is completed by the due date
* Ensure active management of individual KPI’s and personal development plan
* Proactively manage key relationships with General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Sales, Reservations, Marketing, Operations, Conference & Events and IHG Marketing and other areas to ensure alignment across the region driving regular communication

Guest experience:
* Provide guests with information (example: sales proposals and contracts, loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience
* Create engaging content via various marketing channels to ensure guests are well informed about products and services available and drive usage of all hotel facilities and events.
* Ensure all marketing communication pieces are in strict compliance with established brand standards.
* Ensure client feedback is communicated and acted upon internally and manage resolution of any issues with the client within 48 hours.
* Ensure content is live, up to date, engaging and producing traffic and conversion through all channels.
* Coordinate the development and implementation of all marketing collateral from briefing and creation through to distribution. This includes as required developing the collateral internally, briefing external designers, sourcing quotes for production, approvals from all relevant parties and distribution as required.
