We are seeking a passionate occupational therapist to join our community-based team. This diverse role involves conducting assessments, delivering interventions, and providing professional reports that directly improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Completing functional capacity assessments (FCAs) and mobility assessments.
* Conducting supported independent living (SIL) and specialist disability accommodation (SDA) housing assessments and reports.
* Completing assistive technology (AT) assessments and equipment prescriptions.
* Undertaking home modification assessments (minor and complex).
* Assessing independent living skills to support daily life and community engagement.
* Delivering seating and positioning assessments and recommendations.
* Conducting risk, safety, and falls assessments.
* Collaborating with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to achieve participant goals.
* Ensuring timely and accurate documentation in line with NDIS requirements.
Qualifications
* Degree in occupational therapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
* Strong assessment and professional report writing skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
