About the role
As a Product Designer - Beam you will be responsible for leading the design and user experience of Beam’s digital products, with a strong focus on strategic, user-centred design. You will play a critical role in ensuring that every interaction, from initial engagement through to long-term use, is intuitive, meaningful, and impactful for employers.
Working across the full product lifecycle, you will own the end-to-end user journey, applying deep UX expertise to bring clarity to complex problems and structure to ambiguous challenges.
Day to day, you'll:
* Design end-to-end workflows that improve core product experiences and solve real user problems.
* Lead and contribute to product discovery, using research and insights to inform design decisions.
* Translate complex requirements into clear, usable, and delightful experiences.
* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to uncover user needs and translate them into elegant, scalable design solutions and ensuring precision implementation.
* Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
* Define and measure success through user outcomes, not just deliverables.
* Advocate for the user at every stage, balancing business goals with user needs.

About you
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
* Poven experience designing holistic user journeys that go beyond individual screens and able to zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to refine the smallest details.
* Skilled in navigating the full design process, from user research and journey mapping to wireframes, prototyping, and delivering polished UI.
* Adept at untangling complex challenges asking insightful questions, and structuring ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
* Confident in articulating design rationale across disciplines and stakeholders fostering alignment and understanding.
* Comfortable working iteratively within cross-functional teams, embracing feedback and co-creation.
* A passion for connecting design decisions to meaningful outcome, focused on real-world impact, not just aesthetics.
