Warehouse Operations Manager

We're looking for a motivated and capable Assistant Warehouse Manager (formal position title: Warehouse Operations Manager) to support the leadership of our Distribution Centre and play a hands-on role in day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the DC Manager, this full-time role is based in St Peters, NSW and is instrumental in maintaining our high standards of efficiency, accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction across the warehouse environment.
A Day in the Life
As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you'll work closely with the DC Manager and be a hands-on leader within our Distribution Centre. Your day will involve:
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the National Warehouse
* Leading and supporting team members on the floor, including 2 direct reports
* Helping ensure store and online orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time
* Assisting with stock receipting, dispatch, and basic inventory control
* Following and helping implement warehouse procedures and improvements
* Working collaboratively with other teams to meet daily targets
* Promoting safe work practices and a positive, team-focused culture

Your Experience:
* Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations leadership roles
* Demonstrated success improving warehouse efficiency and productivity
* Proven experience managing inventory, stock control, and stocktake processes
* Experience ensuring compliance with WHS and safety standards
* A track record of coaching, mentoring, and leading teams to success
* Forklift licence
