The Infectious Diseases Ward at Townsville University Hospital is a 13-bed unit caring for patients with infectious diseases, medical and surgical conditions. Competitive salary and benefits
Salary between $***** – $***** per hour (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1).
4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with *******% loading.

About your opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide advanced nursing care, leadership, and education within the Infectious Diseases Ward. You will support patients and families, mentor staff, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a complex clinical environment.
Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
Current registration with AHPRA and a valid practising certificate.
Highly Desirable:
possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field.
Desirable:
Infectious Diseases Nursing Experience. Applicants with transferable skills that meet the responsibilities of the role will be considered.
Evidence of vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD).
Ability to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
