As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in the optimization of mobile and fixed plant assets. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring performance, availability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in prioritizing mechanical maintenance activities, including preventative and ad hoc tasks.
* Work closely with the Process Team and Maintenance Team to achieve maintenance targets and ensure statutory compliance and production continuity.
* Provide input on cost management, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We are seeking a qualified heavy diesel mechanic with a minimum of three years' post-trade experience, ideally within the mining industry and with exposure to fixed plant operations. A strong understanding of asset management practices and preventative maintenance schedules is essential. Proficiency in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems such as Pronto is also required.
