About the role
u&u Recruitment Partners is excited to partner with a highly recognisable, purpose led FMCG brand to recruit two Territory Manager roles, which together cover the Brisbane metro and Gold Coast regions.
The role
Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, the Territory Manager position plays a critical role in driving sales growth, market expansion and strengthening customer relationships, each within the assigned territory (Ormeau to Tweed Heads and Northlakes to Beenleigh).
More specifically, you will be involved in the following
* Proactively visiting assigned retail outlets to maximise sales and distribution throughout the respective territories;
* Identifying and negotiating opportunities to expand product ranging & promotional opportunities;
* Driving execution of in-store excellence, ensuring distribution, facings, availability and merchandising meet brand standards;
* Building long term and mutually beneficial customer relationships that help drive sales growth and profitability for all parties; and
* Maintaining up to date customer records and using instore sales data to assist in the development of sales strategies.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar territory manager or sales representative role within the FMCG or a related sector;
* Demonstrated success growing a territory in the major grocery or independents area;
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, adaptable, energetic and reliable personality;
* Professionally presented with well-developed communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills;
* Well-developed territory planning, time management and analytical skills; and
* Demonstrated experience using sales data to make informed business decisions.
