Senior Procurement Manager, Print and Direct MailGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Overview: Group Procurement manages all activities across the procurement lifecycle, namely: requirements gathering and strategy, execution and negotiation, implementation and transition, and performance and governance.
This role focuses on the end-to-end procurement lifecycle of the Marketing portfolio, primarily Print and Direct Mail suppliers, and collaborates with key stakeholders to create value through strategic thinking, efficient processes and exceptional customer experience.ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Execution: Lead and support the total commercial management of a portfolio of categories and suppliers to enable successful delivery of business priorities and strategic initiatives.
Activities may include business requirements mapping, market analysis, spend analysis, demand management, market exercises, bid evaluation, negotiation and contracting strategies.Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management: Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships at all levels to support customer service, technology and operational excellence.
Interact with internal customers and stakeholders regularly to ensure efficient delivery of procurement initiatives.Contract & Supplier Management: Ensure category strategies align with the Group Supplier Lifecycle Policy and other policies.
Support supplier management frameworks and ongoing performance management.Risk & Compliance: Ensure stakeholders understand category risks and complete relevant risk documentation and processes.
Work with risk SMEs, Business Owners and Relationship Managers to develop risk mitigation strategies.QualificationsProfessional experience (5+ years) in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management.
Prior experience in managing Print and Direct Mail suppliers is highly desirable.A business-related Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is desirable but not mandatory.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Advanced commercial and contract negotiation skills and experience.Strong commercial acumen and vision aligned with strategic objectives in a large, complex environment.High problem-solving and decision-making ability.Growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.Ongoing DevelopmentIn Group Procurement we take a proactive approach to career development.
