Position Title: Painter
Full-time employment Salary Offered: $80,000 + superannuation
Company Profile: SSRM Sydney Waterproof Pty Ltd has been in the commercial waterproofing and painting industry for more than 4 years. With the business growing, we are seeking energetic, dedicated and self-driven painters to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities:
* Painting, waterproofing, treatment of concrete cancer.
* Setting up scaffolding and ladders and placing drop cloths to shield surrounding areas from paint splashes.
* Performing painting and blasting projects using brushes, rollers, and spray guns and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
* Understanding and applying various industrial paint systems.
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
* Keep track of materials and supplies, reporting any inventory needs.
* Cleaning sites on completion and maintaining painting equipment and ensuring tools are in good working order.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Skills and experience required:
* At least 3 years extensive experience in painting and blasting projects.
* Trade qualification in Painting or closely related trade qualification.
* Understanding of Safe
Work Procedures.
* Computer literacy and maintenance management (desirable).
* Organisational and time management skills.
* Able to work with a team or in isolation.
* Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
