Are you passionate about creating innovative, high-performance nutrition products? As our full‐time Senior Food Technologist, you'll step into a pivotal role driving product innovation and leading the development of new sports nutrition formulations. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager and leading a small team, you'll bring ideas to life from concept to launch.
This is a hands‐on, highly collaborative role working closely with our Business Development, QA, Production, and Compliance teams to deliver outstanding products loved by athletes and everyday consumers alike.
What you'll do
Lead the creation of innovative new sports nutrition products
Oversee the full NPD lifecycle—from concept and formulation to testing and launch
Mentor, support, and guide two Food Technologists
Ensure all products meet our gold standard for quality, safety, and compliance
Coordinate project timelines and manage team priorities
Oversee lab activities, shelf‐life testing, and documentation
Maintain BOMs, raw material reviews, and product specifications
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving smoothly
Support QA and Production with audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll bring
Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, or related field (mandatory)
Proven experience in product development (food, beverage, FMCG, or sports nutrition)
Strong organisational skills and the ability to drive multiple projects at once
Technical expertise in formulations, raw materials, and product specs
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with cross‐functional teams
Leadership capability and a passion for developing others
Bonus points for experience in compliance, lab testing, or ERP systems
